I have a question...

What should one do with a SCREAMING child???? Not only does she scream, she YELLS...at the boys all the time!!! I've had it....but am at a loss of what to do?? She's impossible at the moment...

Big D is home...

So Big D got home around 4am on Wednesday. Miss Daisy just didn't care for his sneaking in at that time. Her bark is actually quite scary when she wants it to be. Not use to a big dog barking beside my bed. Little Gizzie-Mo barks all the time, needless to say his bark is in no way scary...poor tiny dog!!!! Jewel was a big dog...but not a big barker. When she barked, you new something was wrong! How I miss that girl...

So hubby is home, safe and sound. It's so nice having him here. The kids were way excited to see him. Khandi instantly wanted to wrestle and play. So after getting everyone back into bed....Toad had school in the morning...we all drifted off to sleep....did I mention the kids had to share our bed.  (Next time, I'm so investing in a King size bed).

1 bag of spinach, 2 butter neck squash, 8 corn, 6 yams, 2 limes, 2 lemons, 1 cucumber, 1 grapefruit, 8 bananas, 1 honey dew melon, 1 container strawberries, 1 pineapple, 4 pummelo's, 7 tomatoes, a bunch of tangerines, & 7 apples.
I'd say I did pretty good....thanks Sabrina for hooking me up with all these yummy foods. :o)

Saturday's are so fun...

Spent the day with extended family. The kids played out in the snow with sleds. They really really enjoyed their cousins. When the cold was too much to bare, they came inside and with Granny's help everyone made Valentines for their parents. It's so cute seeing their artistic abilities.

Dad came out to my house today and used the tractor to plow the driveway. He did an awesome job...I think he enjoys any excuse to play on his tractor. I went out to snap some photo's but he was finished by the time I had thought of it. The kids are in heaven...playing on all the snow hills. Daisy had fun playing with them too...she ran all over the place chasing them and jumping in the snow. A few times the kids would lay down and she would go and lay with them. Silly dog and silly children make a cute picture, but there again I left the camera inside...oops!!

Baylee, Lexi, and Little David...these are a few of his little classmate/friends in school. Oh my goodness...his class was Super hyper today. I tell you what, candy and kids...a fun mixture! :o) Seriously though, it was a blast...the kids loved the bingo game and REALLY loved their prizes!! I have to tell you though, this little Baylee just adores David. She was standing next to David when Lexi walks up and announces she wanted in the picture. So she laughed and said, "let me squeeze in here"...I must say Lexi and David are adorable, not to mention that Lexie is the girl that told David that she likes him more then a friend....even has a crush on him. And David being the boy that he is said..."Ewwwww". Gotta love 'em even if they are rude. 

Fresh Snow...

So last night after we all went to bed it decided to snow...I have to say fresh snow is just the prettiest to look at...pain in the butt to drive in, but beautiful all the same. However with the snow came some more fog, man am I tired of fog. So little Miss Frosty (our cat) just hates the snow, I was putting her food in her dish and she refused to come out of her little house to eat. She stepped one paw in the snow, shook it off and just stared at me like, "heck no, I'm so not coming out of here." I laughed...eventually she'll emerge to get her food.
Busy Day today, Little D has a party at school that I get the joy of helping at. I am in charge of Valentines Bingo, so last night we made up some fun "CUPID" bingo cards and bought some fun prizes along with Conversation Hearts for the game pieces. He is way excited that I'm coming to the party...I'm glad he still loves having his Mommy around. :o)  Well, I hope to get some fun photo's that I can post along with this. Chat with you all soon.

Our Newest Canine Companion...

This is Daisy, we got her almost three weeks ago. The Kids just adore her, she is 8yrs old. Her breed is Pyrenees and Golden  Retriever. So far she's been amazing with the children. Khandi and Shiera dress her up and put bows in her hair along with play make up. The other day they even put nail polish on her. (little girl nail polish, not mommies). I must say, very impressed with this big furry beast!! I'm just hoping that Daddy approves when he comes home from California. We got Daisy just a week before the 'old' family dog passed away. Living in the country I didn't want to be alone at night with little ones and no dog. An opportunity arose and we were able to get Daisy from a family member who felt she needed children. The kids instantly took to her and when their beloved Jewel passed a week later they didn't feel like Daisy was taking over Jewel's spot because she was already apart of the family. Daisy has THE cutest personality. She is so puppy like playing in the snow, I just love it!!!

David's trip to California...

   So David went to California this year, same as every year, to put the bee's in the Orchards. Well things were going as planned when after a week of being there he broke out into hive like rashes. His claritin wasn't helping...so he went and bought something to help relieve his itching. That night at the hotel he discovered the truth behind his horrible rash...Dum de dum dum...BED BUGS!   
Those nasty little critters were all over the place, they lifted up the mattress and WOW....there was a bunch. So off they went to the front desk to demand a room change. After a lot of rearranging David and his friend were able to switch rooms while their old room recieved a visit from an extermination man. 24hrs later and a better night sleep...being the main course just wasn't fun...the two men were again put back into the same room. Everything seemed fine and dandy until last night...three little bed bugs reappeared. Sensing it just wouldn't be right to stay there much  longer the men captured these little bugs and off to the receptionist they went. 
     Since the Hotel is all booked, they had to bunk with a few of their buddies for the night. As of now they're not sure if they'll be heading to a new hotel or just sleeping on roll aways with their other coworkers. 

So my sweet husband has been gone for a little over two weeks. He's working in California and will hopefully be home on Valentine's Day. The kids are missing their Daddy. I've learned that he is the boy's best friend. Which is so adorable. They've tried to get me to wrestle with them...however I'm not as much fun as their daddy. He's got more strength to toss them around...which I've learned is the best part of wrestling.

So, I've been trying to figure this whole thing out. Finally got the layout that I like...thanks to the cutest blog on the block, they've got such cute ideas!!!

Decided that since everyone else has one of these sweet little blogs, I mine as well get one started too. Not sure of what to really write but I think it should be interesting to see how it goes.
